Multipurpose distribution, switching and control units in "non-sparking nA" protection

The broad range of control boxes is designed for Zone 2 areas to EN 60079-0 and EN 60079-15 and for Zone 22 areas to EN 61241-1. The enclosures can be made of stove-enameled steel, stainless steel or polyester. In addition to standard enclosures, special enclosures are fabricated to customer specifications. The polyester enclosures offer a special advantage: they can be combined like building blocks or fitted with cable glands using plug-in flange joints. If shielded cables are installed, brass flanges holding suitable cable glands are available for integrating the cable shields into an equipotential bonding system. The multipurpose control units can be readied for wall mounting or be provided with a stand or support arm to meet customer wishes.
