Multipurpose distribution, switching and control units in "increased safety e" protection

The broad range of control boxes is designed for Zone 1 and 2 areas to EN 60079-0 and EN 60079-7 or for Zones 21 and 22 to EN 61241-1. The enclosures can be made of stoveenameled steel, stainless steel or polyester. In addition to standard enclosures, special enclosures are fabricated to customer specifications. The polyester enclosures offer a special advantage: they can be combined like building blocks using plug-in flange joints. The same openings also accept flanges fitted with cable glands. If shielded cables are installed, brass flanges holding suitable cable glands are available for integrating the cable shields into an equipotential bonding system.

The combined distribution, switching and control untis can be readied for wall mounting or be provided with a stand or support arm to meet cusotmer wishes.
