Explosionproof keyboards and mice

The keyboards are operated via an intrinsically safe interface [EEx ia] IIC. The associated interface limits the energy in the area at risk of explosion. Thanks to the membrane thickness of less than 0.2 mm, keyboard EEx ia IIC T6 meets the static electricity requirements. The keyboard, whose degree of protection is IP 65, can be supplied in either a desktop or a surface-mounting model. An enclosure of stainless steel is covered with a laminated film that is resistant to chemical attack. The keyboard is supplied with various layouts and is connected via the PS/2 interface.
The keyboard can be supplied with either a separate or integrated mouse. Three different mouse types can be connected to the interface.
