By definition these are clamps (terminals) with only one connection. The clamp must make verifiable contact and must have no own ignition source.
A resistance of 106 Ohm between mobile equipment, vessels and vehicles of the installation is sufficient to prevent a dangerously high charge. Before each action, for example, opening vessels, connecting pipes or hoses for filling or emptying, the mobile equipment, vessels and vehicles must be earthed with an equipotential bonding conductor so that the resistance between the equipment to be earthed and the equipotential bonding is safely below 106 Ohm and reduced to small, single-digit values in practice. The temporary equipotential bonding connection must not be removed until all operations have been completed. Clamps with special tips are available for coated surfaces.
The spiral cables have a cross section of 6 mm² and are available in lengths of 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 m (extended length).
